San Diego's
San Diego's music scene is hot - very hot. Whatever
stars aligned to make this happen, the fact is there's
a lot of people in this town writing and performing
insanely good music.
A big chunk of those artists write their music in the
acoustic vein. Now in its second season, The New
Acoustic Generation (NAG) is a series spotlighting this
new generation of troubadours, armed with a song in
their hearts, a guitar in their hands, or keys at their
fingertips.
NAG is for the fan of acoustic music in all its forms -
from solo singer/songwriters, to acoustic-based bands,
be they pop or with a bent towards the blues, whether
folky or bluegrassy, edgy, angry, and rockin', or soft,
insightful, and sensitive.
NAG is also for the artist - to provide an atmosphere
of collaboration, of networking, of non-competition,
and of celebration of the art they strive to bring into
the world.
